My Goals for Term 2

Reading goals

To get to the next level I need to:

• To feel for the characters and situation
• Use visualizing and making connections strategies to understand the characters and situations better.
• Use the skimming and scanning strategies to find key information quickly

Writing goals
To get to the next level I need to:

• Use the correct verb endings to show that it is past tense (ed endings e.g. jumped)
• Reading my story out loud with a buddy to check that it makes sense and that it flows
• Use ‘your’ and ‘you’re’ correctly

Math goals

To get to the next level I need to:

• Learn and use the symbols =, < and >
• Understand maths language to solve story problems
• Use +,-,x and / to solve story problems
